Sam’s Fish Bowl Highlighted at Facebook Review

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009

The editors at FBReview.com have written an in-depth review of our Facebook application, Sam’s Fish Bowl. They give a fantastic overview of how the application operates and why so many Facebook users have found it fun and entertaining. We think it is worth mentioning that they noticed our active users have doubled in the last month. We are very happy about this fact, and, as an update, we are on track to double again in March (fingers crossed). Please take a few moments and read the full review- thanks FBReview!

Excerpt:

From January to February the number of the active users of Sam’s Fish Bowl application has increased from around 2000 to approximately 4000. Use this game together with your children and friends as well and enjoy a nice time by taking care of your unique fish.

Storybook Anytime presented at the Adobe MAX Conference in Milan

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

We are very excited to see that the Adobe Air team presented Storybook Anytime during the Adobe MAX conference in Milan, Italy this past week. Robert Christensen presented a session titled “Monetizing Applications with Adobe AIR” in which he examined case studies that describe how developers are attempting to monetize and market AIR applications. The featured case study was Storybook Anytime and our two flagship products Sam’s Interactive Reader and Sam’s Fish Bowl. It included a glimpse into our social and online marketing and techniques used via Facebook (and now Twitter) to generate interest in our product and company.

You can view the full presentation here at the Adobe Air blog.

The Adobe MAX conference continues in Tokyo, Japan after the holidays — January 29 - 30, 2009. Once again, thanks Adobe. You guys rock!
